Gong/Sound Bath Relaxation
Sound Baths help to promote harmony between the body mind and spirit.
Experience deep peace, and relaxation as the soothing vibrations of the gongs, singing bowls and other instruments wash over you. This is an ancient holistic practice that helps to enhance your sense of wellbeing, releases tension and stress, improves mood and promotes better sleep.
No experience necessary all that is required is that you allow yourself to be immersed in the sounds while lying peacefully on your mat. Please wear comfortable clothes, bring additional mats, blankets, sleeping bags or cushions in order that you get the best from the experience. Bring water too so that you remain hydrated afterwards.
Studies have shown the vibrational frequencies produced help to slow down brainwaves, shifting us to a more relaxed state of being. This transition helps to reduce stress and fatigue, improve sleep and evoke a sense of wellbeing. It has also shown to relieve pain and release any emotions that are no longer serving us. It can clear and balance energy in the body, and the chakras (energy centres).
